Bella Thorne’s House Robbed of $150K in Valuables Just Weeks After Failed Burglary

Two weeks after a failed break-in attempt, the San Fernando Valley home of Bella Thorne has been hit with burglars who used her designer luggage to successfully move the stolen goods.

The burglars were able to enter the residence by breaking the front window after Thorne left, per a TMZ report published Tuesday. With faces wrapped in bandanas, the group was ultimately able to escape with roughly $150,000 worth of Thorne’s valuables. Police sources claim vintage clothes, high-end jewelry, and purses are among the items Thorne has confirmed as missing.

Surveillance footage caught the group in the act and has since been turned over to local authorities.

Complex has reached out to Thorne’s rep for comment.

On Aug. 21, a would-be thief attempted to make his way into Thorne’s home by smashing another window. Thorne happened to be in the residence at the time, ultimately causing the man to flee the scene when she walked outside to find the source of the sudden late-night noise.

Bella Thorne, Monica Raymund, and Natasha Negovanlis Among Fan Picks for Queer Batwoman

Batwoman is coming to the CW — and Twitter is beyond excited about it. On July 17, Variety reported that the CW is currently looking to expanding its DC universe by adapting Batwoman’s story into a television series which would likely premiere in 2019. But TBH, that’s not even the most exciting part about this announcement.
As Deadline reported last week, the series will feature Batwoman as a lesbian, like she is in the comics — and if the series makes it to our screens, Deadline noted that she’ll be the first gay lead character of a live-action superhero series. But the news only gets better. Both executive producers — Caroline Dries and Greg Berlanti (director of Love, Simon) — are gay, and according to TV Line, are looking to cast Batwoman with a queer actor. (A novel idea!)
While the role of Batwoman hasn’t yet been cast, Twitter is already throwing out some suggestions on who they want to see play the trailblazing character.

One of the actors getting named the most on social media is Natasha Negovanlis, best known for her role on the queer vampire drama Carmilla and whom fans think has the perfect brooding abilities needed for portraying Batwoman. Then there were some more mainstream suggestions, including Bella Thorne, who we last saw on TV in Famous in Love and could give some unexpected zing to the role, and Tessa Thompson, as suggested by FANDOM, who has already played a hero in Thor: Ragnarok and could undoubtedly play a similarly bad*ss version of Batwoman.
Other popular names thrown into the ring were Orange Is the New Black’s Ruby Rose and Evan Rachel Wood.
And finally, some of the other names mentioned as great Batwoman choices were a group of TV actresses currently working on some big shows right now, including Monica Raymund, who is currently starring on Chicago P.D. and Chicago Fire; Elise Bauman, who has appeared on The Handmaid’s Tale and in the lesbian drama Below Her Mouth; and Bex Taylor-Klaus, who not only mentioned in a recent Comic-Con interview she’d love to play Batwoman, but has starred on Scream: The TV Series and lends her voice on the animated series Voltron.
Casting for Batwoman will likely get underway soon since our first sighting of this fan-favorite will be happening sooner rather than later. As announced in May, Batwoman will be popping up in the next major Arrowverse crossover event, appearing on episodes of Arrow, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, and Supergirl.
